They’re supposed to be used with a big make up brush to sweep over the face, define cheekbones, collarbones, shoulders and décolletage. But before I get into a quick review here’s a picture of what they look like close up..
Yes they’re REALLY shimmery at first but once you dust over it with a big powder brush a couple of times the glitter goes away and it looks more like this..
Like I said before, I really can’t make up my mind on these. At first I found them too shimmery looking but then I realised that once that top layer of glitter has been brushed off, they’re actually not that shimmery at all. I think they look really lovely when swatched on the back of my hand (see image below) but when applied to my face they don’t look as nice for some reason. I found that they were really easy to blend and pigmented but they accentuated my spots. I didn’t like using these all over my face like GOSH suggested as they looked really un-natural and made me look really muddy and dirty so I decided to try using them on my cheeks as a blusher which looked way better!
In the end, after a few weeks of trying out these Bronzing Shimmer Powder’s, I decided that I quite liked the Pink shade when I wore it as a blusher rather than an all over the face powder. It’s a subtle, summery, pink which looks really natural and gives you a soft and rosy glow! I didn’t like the Bronze Powder shade very much though.. It looked a little too metallic on my skin and I just found that it didn’t suit my NC40 skin very much as a blusher as well as a face powder!
