Many of you may have spent your weekend relaxing, maybe doing a bit of shopping, having a spot of lunch. Heat on the other hand spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday whizzing around London Fashion Week!
It all kicked off for us on Friday afternoon. We headed to Sass & Bide to go backstage and watch the magic happen. A group of ridiculously stunning, seemingly 7ft models were sat around, sleeping, eating sarnies (egg mayo, no less) and being generally beautiful. Shu Uemura did the make up - dewy, young and fresh with gorgeous crushed bronze glitter powder below the lash line. The hair was teased by the GHD team, plaited either side of the head into a bun at the front. We saw Jamelia, a very tanned Danny Cipriani and a very big haired/wigged Jodie Harsh at the show.
Next up was PPQ where we dashed backstage to quickly chat to James Reed about his amazing Mannequin Tan courtesy of Fake Bake. We were whisked out front to sit on the second row (!!) right behind Brigitte Nielson who loudly gesticulated throughout the duration of the show about how 'fabulously sexy' everything was. Opposite sat Paloma Faith and Reggie Yates. Jamelia was there again, she sat a little further down as did Amber Rose, Destiny’s Child's Michelle Williams and leopard print-clad Eliza Doolittle. The show was a blast from the 80's-past with lots of metallics, taffeta and bright colour clashes. At the after party we chatted to Reggie who surprisingly knew a lot about fashion! More to come...
