The difference between modal and cotton

<

Both modal and human cotton are regenerated fibers, but modal's raw material is wood pulp, and human cotton's raw material is natural fiber. From a certain point of view, both fibers are green fibers. In terms of touch and style, the two are similar, but the prices of the two are far apart. I once received a call from a boss who had made a five-year trade in apparel fabrics to make a special consultation. How does modal and cotton differ, but I'm not surprised at all, because it's undeniable that these two are really difficult to distinguish between true and false. Here's my little experience and understanding, summed up for everyone, just for your reference.

Moder:
Modal fiber is a fabric that has emerged in recent years. It is also called: Modal, referred to as Modal. It is a modern fiber that combines the luxurious texture of natural fibers with the practicality of synthetic fibers. It has the softness of silk, the luster of silk, and the smoothness of linen, and its water absorption and breathability are superior to those of cotton. Dyeing rate, the fabric is bright and full of color. Modal fiber can be blended and interwoven with a variety of fibers, such as cotton, hemp, and silk, to enhance the quality of these fabrics, so that the fabrics can remain soft, smooth, and play their own characteristics of fiber to achieve better results.

Human cotton:
Rayon is commonly known as viscose fiber, abbreviated as: man-made cotton. Viscose fibers refer to α-cellulose extracted from cellulosic materials such as wood and vegetable straws, or man-made fibers made from cotton linters that have been processed into a spinning solution and then wet-spun. In brief, human cotton is a kind of recycled fiber.
