According to the staff of the Fiber Inspection Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in 2012, the China Fiber Inspection Bureau and the Australian Wool Inspection Bureau (AWTA) reached the intention of technical exchange and collaboration, and confirmed that the Fiber Inspection Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region became the first two normalized participating in the “Independent Laboratory Cyclical Testing”. One of the laboratories of the ILRT International Wool Cycling Comparison Test (the other is the National Fiber Inspection Center). The cycle test was compared once each year in January, May, September and November. The comparison test was the first time that the Fiber Inspection Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region officially adopted the wool international standard IWTO-19-11 for the detection of various items of wool. There were a total of four test items, namely, wool-based, ash, grease, and total alkali insoluble content. The Fiber Inspection Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will combine the test results fed back by the Australian side to analyze the original data, summarize the experience, improve the inspection methods and data processing procedures, and ensure that the data of subsequent test results are stable.

The test results prove that Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Fiber Inspection Bureau can meet international wool testing requirements in terms of standard implementation, test conditions, inspection procedures, and test procedures, and its wool detection technology has also reached the international advanced level.
